Dr. Kim manages an Idea & IP/BD Innovation Lab, e4TechHub, in Silicon Valley. He is also working as a Venture Capital technology investment consultant and a start-up business development mentor. He was a lead architect, chief engineer, R&D program director at IBM Corp, where he held the prestigious title of IBM Master Inventor for over 28 years. He is an expert on new technology and technology business development, reusable asset and intellectual property generation. He has produced a vast amount of IP, with over 150 inventions during his professional career as an engineer and an educator. Most of his inventions have been implemented. He has also authored several books and published numerous technical papers. Currently, he holds over 200+ US patents, and 30+ patents in the EU, China, and Japan.
